Job Description
An elite hedge fund is seeking an associate level trader to develop into a future book runner: Daily responsibilities will include:
Will run a book on a well defined strategy after an initial execution trading period – progression dependent on ability
Running models and executing trades on the US Mortgage market
Working closely with senior traders to develop strategies
Suitable candidates will:
· Be from an ABS/NBS/MBS background
· Have experience to associate level trading in one of the above
· Understand the basic characteristics of IR, term structures, volatility & pre payment models
· Preferably have experience trading on the US market
This is an excellent opportunity to join and learn from market leading traders possessing the most highly regarded strategies in the world. Candidates must have sharp analytical skills: a quantitatively minded trader with solid experience is required.
