Telemarketing Consultant, Hampshire / Surrey borders  Up to £18,000 + bonus + benefits

A leading insurance and employee benefits consultancy have an opportunity for a telemarketing consultant to join their expanding team to make new business appointments for the Consultants within the Company by contacting IFAs and Companies who require employee benefits.

Key responsibilities include:
Produce quality appointments for a team of Consultants through cold calling and contacting existing contacts.
Maintaining a database of prospect information
Researching for new prospects
Confirmation of appointments via email or letter
Liaising with Consultants on a regular basis

To be successful, the candidate must have the following skills: Experience within telesales and / or employee benefits
Experience within financial services is desirable
Experience with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Experience working with database packages
Excellent telephone manner and experience with B2B cold calling
Ability to build relationships at all levels
Ability to work under own initiative and within a team.
Minimum GCSEs including Maths and English
