Job Description
Our client, a global investment bank, is looking to hire onto its growing corporate derivatives platform. The management have been mandated to build up the corporate team to match the bank’s prominent investor business, and as such they’re looking to hire a proven salesperson for the team. The position’s responsibilities include:
- developing the desk’s client list throughout the UK and Continental Europe
- focusing on both medium- and large-sized corporate clients, as well as multinationals and corporate pension funds
- selling interest rate derivatives, FX, commodities and other derivative products
- liaising with the structuring and product development teams to create derivative solutions
This role will suit an enthusiastic corporate derivatives salesperson, marketer or client-facing structurer with strong communication and product knowledge. The candidate may solely focus on one European region (UK, France, Germany, etc.), however the bank are more than happy to consider candidates with such focus. This individual will play a key and defined role within one of the most progressive derivatives platforms in London, and will assume clear career progression.
