Job Description
My client, a top ranked commodity sales platform has decided to recruit within its London desk. The addition comes as the institution has decided to expand its global Hedge Fund coverage due to the successes of the commodities market. They are looking for highly motivated knowledgeable candidates to share their dream of being the top player within the commodities market. The clients that this role involves working with include a vast array of Hedge Funds across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working as part of front office sales working across the commodities market with a range of Hedge Fund clients.
- Working with the company’s existing client base ensuring that their needs are met and business is kept.
- Building on the companies’ client base and ensuring their expansion continues.
- Reporting your progression and business to the Head of Commodity sales for your region.
- Focusing on hedge funds in the EMEA region, but also working with additional clients in Asia and America.
Key Skills: The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following traits:
- Self motivation and drive, the role is highly challenging but equally rewarding so only ambitious candidates should apply.
- Excellent communication skills, this is due to the high levels of client interaction and is essential to be successful within the role.
- Knowledge of the market and product would give you a head start and is also critical for the role.
- Strong leadership qualities, to drive business in untapped markets to expand the companies client base.
