Job Description
Opening position in a top ranked global investment bank. They are now expanding their well known and fast growing London based sales team. The team structures and sells derivatives across all asset classes to institutional clients in Europe and they are now looking to add an individual to their team who will focus on selling Commodity products to institutions in Southern Europe and who will ideally be an expert in one or two markets in Iberia (Spain, Portugal), Italy, Greece, Malta, Turkey, Israel.
Key responsibilities:
- marketing and distributing Commodity products to a diverse range of institutional clients (asset managers, pension funds, banks, insurance companies, private banks)
- Sourcing of alternative/exotic investment products
- Using the teams well established client base and expanding this clientele
- Introduce and provide training to the various distribution channels in promotion and sales of treasury related products
Skills required:
- Proven track record of selling derivatives to institutions in Southern Europe
- Good understanding of the European institutional market
- Excellent derivatives knowledge
- Fluency in one Southern European language (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Greek)
- Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
