Job Description
My client, a strong but growing European fund of funds, is looking to hire a senior individual to their team. The fund, with over $4bn AUM, has developed rapidly over the past few years and are looking to complete a year of key hires by adding an business developer to their team. The position will focus on:
- leading the business development effort throughout EMEA institutional markets
- selling the fund to asset managers, private banks, family offices, as well as the larger institutional market (pension funds, insurance companies, banks, etc.)
- defining the fund’s business development strategy alongside the CEO, COO and CIO
- taking control of the growing sales and business development team
- working closely with the fund managers and product developers within the fund
The successful candidate will possess strong institutional relationships, and will ideally have a regional understanding across various EMEA markets. It is also necessary for candidates to have an understanding of the buy side, and will preferably have sold fund of funds, hedge funds, mutual funds or other alternative investment products.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic senior salesperson to move onto an expanding platform, and assume a role with defined responsibility and growth potential.
