Job Description
Opening position in a top ranked investment bank. They are now expanding their well known and fast growing Vienna based sales team. The team structures and sells derivatives across all asset classes to institutional clients in Europe. They are now looking to add an individual to their team who will focus on selling IR and Fixed Income derivatives to institutions in France, Benelux and/or Iberia (Spain, Portugal).
Key responsibilities:
- marketing and distributing IR and Fixed Income products to a diverse range of institutional clients (asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, private banks)
- Sourcing of alternative / exotic investment products
- Using the teams well established client base and expanding this clientele
- Introduce and provide training to the various distribution channels in promotion and sales of treasury related products
Skills required:
- Proven track record of selling derivatives to French, Benelux or Iberian (Spanish, Portuguese) institutions
- Good understanding of the institutional market in one of these countries
- Excellent derivatives knowledge
- Fluency in either French, Spanish or Portuguese is essential for this role
- Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the most well established teams in the European and global market and to gain exposure to a very broad range of clients. The successful candidate will be based in Vienna but will have the opportunity to travel frequently to Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands to conduct client meetings.
