Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen within a top ranked global investment bank. The team is looking to hire an individual who will join one of the three equity sales desks in London, Taiwan or New York. The teams sell Asian equities to Global Institutions (Europe, Asia, and USA) and they are now looking to hire a successful candidate who will essentially have excellent knowledge of Taiwanese Equities.
Key responsibilities:
- Sell Taiwanese small, mid and large cap equity to global institutions (USA, Asia, UK, Europe), asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, mutual funds and long only funds.
- Participate in investment theme and product view formulation
- Centralize product ideas from various sales channels and external clients in developing competitive/timely products for sales promotion
- Preparation of product proposals for committee's approval
- Participate in the formulation of pitch books
- Provide after sale service and market intelligence to clients
Key skills:
- Excellent product knowledge on Taiwanese equity
- Good understanding of the institutional market in Europe, Asia or USA
- Excellent sales and communication skills
- Willing to travel
Ideally, the successful candidate will have a background of selling Asian Equity to the institutional market in Europe, Asia or USA. Fluency in English is essential for this role, fluency in a local language (Cantonese or a European language) will be considered as a plus.
