Job Description
Our client, a leading global investment bank, is looking to hire onto its prominent FX platform in London. The team sell FX, IRD, DCM and commodity derivatives and structured solutions to corporate clients throughout EMEA, and have built up an excellent reputation in terms of product range and client balance sheet analysis. Due to a strong 2008, they’re now looking to hire an individual to:
- join their Northern European sales team, focusing on Scandinavian clients, but also working closely with the Dutch and UK teams
- focus on selling to large corporates, multinationals, corporate pension schemes and several sophisticated midcap clients
- focus on FX derivatives and exotic options, however the candidate will also work with IRD, inflation, commodity, DCM and other products
- proactively develop the client list, and travel frequently to the Scandinavian region
The successful candidate will work in one of the most respected teams in the market, and will immediately work with several of the desk’s largest clients. Applicants will require a strong understanding of the Nordic corporate market, and an excellent level of exposure to FX options and exotics.
