Job Description
Open position in a top ranked global investment bank. This is one of clients top performing desks with an exceptional Hong Kong based sales team. The team sells vanilla equity derivatives to global (Asian, European, USA) hedge funds. They are looking to hire someone who will come from a relevant background, covering global hedge funds.
Key responsibilities:
- Selling and marketing Equity derivatives to global Hedge Funds
- Screening the global hedge fund market for new clients
- Maintenance of the existing client base and proposing new products/sales themes to them
- Conducting meetings with the sales teams in other countries to agree global strategy
Key skills:
- A good knowledge of the hedge fund market in Europe, USA or Asian is essential for this role.
- Ideally, the successful candidate will have some exposure to Asian (Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia) hedge funds.
- Strong knowledge of equity derivatives is required for this role.
- The successful candidate will ideally have strong OTC and/or Delta One products knowledge.
