European Product Marketing Manager / Brand Manager - FMCG
Bristol or Milton Keynes
Up to £50,000 Plus 10% Bonus, Pension, Private Medical, Life Insurance, Car Allowance
Our client is a worldwide leader of innovative peripherals in the interactive entertainment industry. Focusing on continued growth within Console and Video Game accessories, as well as PC Input Devices and Audio, the company boasts lots of exciting growth opportunities with its strong brand portfolio. They are now strengthening their European sales and marketing organisation following the recent acquisition of a new company and are looking to recruit a high calibre European Product Marketing Manager / Brand Manager.
This is the ideal role for a creative thinker with a good understanding of the processes involved in taking a product from concept to finish. As the European Product Marketing Manager / Brand Manager you will need to be an outstanding individual who will be responsible for leading the integration of their European product and marketing teams from the front. This position can be based in Bristol or Milton Keynes and involves frequent travel to the Far East, US and other European locations.
Applying your proven experience, and as part of the European Marketing team, in this position your key responsibilities will include:
- directing, developing and motivating the local marketing teams
- analysing market data, reviewing market trends and providing data on competitor activity/products
- supporting the sales teams in business tenders and presentations
- ensuring local initiatives are in line with global and European strategies
You will also be responsible for managing product launches across Europe with duties involving capturing market requirements, establishing pricing, assisting the Supply Chain team with production planning, and developing post-launch performance tools.
To succeed as the European Product Marketing Manager / Brand Manager you must have a successful proven record in brand management, product marketing or product management, ideally from within a FMCG market. You will also need a BA/BS in business or marketing (or equivalent), and preferably an MBA.
With your ability to apply creative thinking to current and existing products in a fast-paced and competitive environment; you will also need to demonstrate experience in evaluating and launching new products. You should also be familiar with the product development cycle.
