Job Description
Our client, a leading investment house, is looking to hire onto its distribution team in London. The team trade, structure and sell products across fixed income, (structured) bonds, derivatives, interest rate products, credit and hybrid structure (equity, commodity, FX) to financial institutions throughout EMEA, with a focus on private banks, retail banks, distributors and intermediaries. Due to a particularly strong 2007/2008 they’re now looking to hire in London. The successful candidate will:
- Sell their entire product range to UK private banks, retail clients, distributors and other intermediaries
- focus on developing their UK and Ireland client base
- work closely with the rest of the European sales team, backing up their Benelux, Scandinavia French- and German-speaking regions
- manage a number of junior team members
- assist the product originators and syndicate managers
The responsibility of the role is extensive, however the candidate will be charged with maintaining and further developing their UK business, and the successful individual will join one of the most ambitious and respected teams in the market.
