Job Description
Our client is the biggest UK based systematic Hedge Fund. The London based sales team is expanding its growth. They are looking for a sales person to handle the investor relations side of the business, focusing on the UK and continental Europe (France, Germany, Spain, Benelux and Italy). The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience in marketing.
Skills required for this role are:
- Science/Finance background
- A good knowledge of the UK and European market
- A basic understanding of the products a Hedge Fund can offer
- Excellent communication and sales skills
Responsibilities will include:
- Representing the Hedge Fund to several clients in the UK and continental Europe
- Screening the investor universe for suitable investors
- Setting up meetings
- Conducting post meeting follow ups
- Attending conferences to promote the brand
Ideally, the successful candidate will have had some exposure to the above responsibilities in the past, but this is not essential, as all levels of experience will be considered. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to take over a marketing role at one of the strongest Hedge Funds in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a background in a hedge fund, fund of fund or sales position in an investment bank.
