Job Description
Our client, a top ranked global investment banks is expanding its Paris and London based sales teams. The London based team sells interest rate derivatives to French and Belgian local authorities (cities, regions, municipals). The Paris based team sells interest rate derivatives covering corporate clients (small cap/mid cap/large cap) in France. They are looking to hire someone who will join one of the desks. Ideally, the successful candidate will have some exposure to the French/Belgian local authorities or to the French corporate market. A very good derivatives knowledge is essential for this role, and candidates from non sales backgrounds will be considered as well (traders, structurers). Fluency in French is required for this role and a good understanding of the French and/or Belgian market will be required. The successful candidate will have excellent sales and communication skills and will be able to work in a team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join one of the strongest and most aggressive platforms in Europe and work alongside some of the most successful individuals in the market.
