Job Description
My client, a tier one US Investment bank is looking for an experienced product controller to take a lead role in a front office facing market risk team. Covering all aspects of risk analys across fixed income products (Credit, FX and Interest rate derivatives), the successful candidate will work very closely with the trading desk to identify and manage all aspects of Market risk as well as being involved in setting and reviewing trading limits.
The ideal candidate for the market risk manager will come from a product control / risk control / market risk background and be looking to progress into a front office environment. You must be able to demonstrate strong product knowledge across asset classes, and posses strong market awareness. The product controller must come from a successful academic background, with strong grades through to MSc / DEA or equivalent level. Previous Managerial experience and strong IT knowledge such as VBA and C++ are highly advantageous , and the role will suit ambitious high achievers looking to take a significant step forwards in their career within a highly prestigious institution.
