Job Description
A top tier U.S. investment bank is looking to hire a Market Risk manager for their front office based market risk team in Hong Kong. You will be working along side the Exotic Foreign Exchange (FX) Derivatives trading desk with the FX desk heads as well as traders and structurers and be responsible for analysing and managing the market risk taken on all exotic FX and interest rate hybrids derivatives trading activity.
The successful candidate for the market risk manager role must come from a strong academic background and be educated to a MSc / DEA or equivalent level in a scientific, quantitative or finance related subject. It is also essential that candidates have a strong knowledge of exotic and vanilla foreign exchange products, with exposure to interest rate derivatives highly desirable. Knowledge of other fixed income products would also be an advantage. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who would be looking to move to front office and work on the desk. Experience working with VBA would be desirable but not required for this position.
