Job Description
An operational risk analyst is required in an AVP capacity at a world-class investment-bank with an unrivalled network of global corporate banking relationships. The bank is committed to being the best financial services provider in the world. The role is based in London.
The operational risk management group designs, establishes, maintains and updates the operational risk framework, including:
- Principles and other policies and procedures related to the management of operational risk
- Quantification methodologies
- Operational Risk Limits, excesses and related processes
- Operational Risk Management Information Framework
As a member of the relationship management team you will support the senior relationship managers and have a primary relationship manager role for a control/support function within the bank. By supporting the senior relationship managers you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of business divisions (i.e. front office areas) through regular and project-based activities.
A good understanding of operational risk management techniques, demonstrated through excellent project/programme management and exposure to financial institutions (in particular corporate finance) is required.
