Job Description
A high-calibre, extensively experienced and qualified market risk regulatory VP is required by one of the world's leading banks, which provides its clients with investment banking, private banking and asset management services worldwide. The role is based in London.
The regulatory coordination team is an integral part of the bank and this role will focus on market risk reporting, ensuring that risk is measured and monitored. You will be a vital part of the bank ensuring risk is effectively managed.
Your duties and responsibilities will focus on coordinating applications to regulators for new and amended risk measurement models covering market, credit and/or operational risk. You will understand the implications of current and proposed regulatory requirements relating to risk management and providing advice on appropriate actions.
Strong financial sector experience is essential, preferably in a risk management role in an investment or large commercial bank, accountancy/consultancy firm or regulator. You will demonstrate good knowledge of market risk concepts (products, markets, risk measurement techniques (e.g. VAR). Additional financial qualifications (e.g. ACA, CFA) are desirable.
