Cashier & General Adviser
Salary
£11,800 to £14,550
Opportunity to progress to £17,350
An Overview of the role
As a Cashier and General Adviser you are the face of the Bank. You will welcome customers to the branch making their visit friendly and relaxing, ensuring customers receive the level of service they expect.
By establishing new and long lasting relationships with customers you will identify opportunities to offer the services and products of the bank to maximise business sales. You will build your knowledge and understanding of products and services to support and improve customer service, operational and sales performance.
You will work to targets and dead lines, getting it right first time. You will need to be able to respond to the needs of others by using excellent communication skills and adapting your style when talking to customers.
Additional Terms & Special Conditions:
· All candidates will be credit checked.
· It is a condition of employment that you apply and are accepted for a Co-operative Bank Staff Current Account.
Benefits
You will be eligible for the Company Bonus Scheme based on individual and
Company performance. On-target bonus is circa 10% of basic salary but even those who are deemed working towards target will also achieve some level of bonus.
The usual operational working hours are 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and Saturday 09:00 to 13:00. (Saturday working attracts a 35% premium to your normal rate of pay).
38 days holiday now come as standard (after one year) that includes the 8 bank holidays.
