Job Description

The private client division of this global bank is looking for Independent Telephone based Financial Advisers in Leeds , to service its HNW/UHNW International clients who are resident in the UK. The wealth management division seeks business from around the world and services both the banks private clients and non-clients who are referred or request its service.

 

The Offshore International IFA business in the UK is part of the banks global International Wealth Management structure with offices located in key prestigious central London Locations and across the global network e.g. Dubai, Malta, Hong Kong, Singapore and Jersey.



Subject to local and international compliance regulations, International Wealth Management writes business from around the world.  To serve their international client base, the department is sub-divided into geographical offices headed by Area Sales Managers who manage Independent Wealth Managers. Offering holistic Financial Planning to the banks HNW/UHNW clients, both new and existing clients by identifying needs and where appropriate, selling regulated products and services to meet these needs.

 

The clients in general are Directors, CEOs of major Investment Banks and Insurance companies, Shareholders, entrepreneurs, record producers, artists, Business Leaders, Politicians, Royal Families and wealthy families and individuals.

 

Wealth management advice is typically above £1m+ with individual earnings ranging from anything between £100,000 to £100m. The typical advice offering the clients will be geared towards providing discretionary and advisory options (Portfolio/Structure/Hedge Funds/Direct Equity).

 

As an Independent Financial Adviser you will be providing telephone based holistic financial planning service with the view of building long-term successful relationships. You will be supported in your role by leads provided to you by relationship managers who service the International Clients. So therefore you do not need to bring a client bank with you when you join, as all leads will be provided.



The ideal candidate will have experience in regulated financial services sales and coming from either a tied/multi-tied or IFA background. You do not need any experience in the offshore market, as full job training will be provided but a good knowledge and understanding of the offshore market will be an advantage. You will be fully FPC/CeFA/CFP qualified with a minimum of 2 years experience in regulated financial services sales and fully CAS. This is a senior adviser appointment and the jobholder will be responsible for servicing clients at the top end of the international proposition wealth range.
