Job Description
Our client is a world leader in retail banking, and is currently looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join its global retail banking team at its headquarters in London.
·Monitor and analyse variances, as well as supporting the business in producing specific management accounts, regulatory reporting, and core on going accounting operations;
·Assist in the production of financial business cases for investment projects undertaken in your area;
·Provide support and analysis on a range of technical issues in connection with the financial and management accounts;
·Undertake elements of strategic management activity;
·Analyse and challenge future costing identifying areas to be made more cost efficient;
·Take responsibility for personal performance, training, and career development plans ensuring relevance and progression.
Skills/Experience:
You will be a qualified accountant, with an ability to acquire skills quickly, and to summarise large amounts of data to present in a clear and concise format. Proven experience of working in a financially focused role is essential, and a Big 4 background is preferred.
