THE COMPANY
A leading high street Bank is currently seeking an individual with exceptional Managerial and Customer Service experience for the role of Service & Control Manager for one their West Sussex Branches. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career within the company and take advantage of the fantastic training and development available.
THE ROLE
·Develop and implement action plans where service quality and control is below the required standard
·Ensure that new procedures are implemented effectively in the branch and all staff are aware and trained in these procedures
·Act as key holder and perform control cashier activities as required by your branch
·Follow company complaints procedures
·Ensure the professional appearance of your branch at all times
·Ensure all branch merchandising is displayed correctly (e.g. posters, charts, leaflets, re-branded items etc) and is up to date at all times
·Plan, monitor and review the customer service provided in branch to ensure all service standards are met
·Ensure customers are served efficiently through effective queue and customer flow management at all times
·Identify, action & resolve all customer complaints quickly and efficiently
·Agree referral targets for your team with your Branch Manager and always know how you are performing against these
·Engage customers in conversation about the banks' products and services, providing them with factual information
·Look for opportunities to attract new customers & retain and grow relationship with existing customers
·Observe and coach service team in how to identify opportunities and engage customers in conversations about how we can help them make or save money
·Ensure customers are referred to the right sales colleague in the appropriate branch and/or channel to meet their needs
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
·Record of successful performance management by direction, motivation, coaching & support, to build and develop a team, to ensure outstanding results
·Experience of operational processes & regulatory requirements to follow strict adherence to procedures
·A track record of success in a retail or financial environment.
·Proven leadership skills are a must, together with the personal qualities needed to get the very best out of your team.
·Experience of providing excellent customer service is vital
·Affective planning and organisation skills
·Strong communication skills are essential
