Job Description
A multi billion dollar hedge fund is seeking a cross asset investment strategist for their Singapore office. The hire will be at VP/director level. The hedge fund is covering global markets using a top down approached in their strategies; hence, you must have experience of these markets using macro skills.
The role will involve:
Generate trade ideas and investment recommendations
Top-down research on asset, regional and sector allocation
Integrate macro-economic trends with broad market and sector measures
Create systematic selection models based on momentum factors
ยท Analyze impact of country credit issues on credit risk of private sector counterparties and transactions
Implementation and maintenance of Chart books
The successful candidate will:
Preferable have experience working on the buy side or from top tier investment bank
Have quantitative as well as analytic skills
Strong academic background
This is a fantastic opportunity to move in to a successful hedge fund where you will work next to the PM and closely with the research team and traders. The role will develop to a pure portfolio management/trading role so you must have the ambition to run you own book in the near future as well as run your own team out of the Singapore office.
