Job Description
My client a Top tier Investment bank is recruiting an Associate and also VP level FX structurer for an FX derivatives trading role based in London. Responsibilities will include:
The role will focus on pricing FX exotic and spot trades and running an FX book and hedging and managing the risk.
Product innovation and development of FX exotics
Exposure to running the FX book and taking responsibility for trades
You need the following skills for this role:
It is essential to be working in a FX structuring position at a top house.
Candidate must be fluent in English and ideally speak another European language though this is not essential.
Ideally Msc level degree from one of the top academic Universities in the discipline of Engineering/ Maths/ Hard science- any PHDs or MBAs an advantage but not essential.
The successful candidate will ideally be working as a structurer on the trading desk or who will have daily contact with the traders and so be experienced in pricing, have an excellent knowledge of the FX market and experience of studying the market and developing new trade ideas.
Confident strong personalities and appetite for risk is also important
