Job Description
A top tier investment bank is looking to add to their fixed income team in New York at associate/VP level. Preferable background could be macro economist, or experience from Centrals banks with a strong academic record in economics/econometrics/finance. You must have an outgoing personality and knowledge of working with policy makers since the role in very client-facing and you will be full responsible for institutional clients, hence, you must have excellent communications skills.
The role will involve:
Develop forecast and strategies for external clients
Writing report an a daily/weekly and monthly basis
Present and marketing your own recommendation to institutional clients
Work directly with the global head of research
The successful profile will have a desire to work closer to sales and be able to think out side the box and enjoy decision making as a part of the role. You will be joining a group were creativity and team environment is essential.
