Job Description

My client a top tier European bank is looking to recruit a bright, academic junior to join its commodities structuring team in London. The successful candidate will have excellent academics from a top institution ideally Phd or Msc level degree in either Mathematics/ Physics/ Engineering from the likes of Oxbridge/ Carnegie Mellon/ Ecole Polytechnique. It is highly desirable to have had internships or analyst level exposure to structuring/ quantitative/ or pricing derivatives in an investment bank. Any exposure to commodities in any underlying whether practical or perhaps during your thesis is also advantageous. The position on offer will include pricing both soft and hard commodities and generation of new product ideas as well as daily exposure to the trading side of the business. Excellent position in one of the best teams in the market.
