Job Description
A leading European investment bank is seeking an exceptional candidate to join its European Strategy team as a UK & European Economist. Suitable candidates will have analyst to associate level experience conducting Macro-economic analysis on the European or UK economy. You will have excellent data handling and interpretation skills and a knowledge of a range of economic issues (e.g. FX, Interest Rates, Mortgages etc). This may come from experience in an investment bank, research house or monetary fund. You will be working directly alongside the Chief Economist researching macro economic issues particularly on the UK economy, but also throughout Europe. The role is exceptional as you will work with the strategy team to see your views implemented across the banks’ wider strategy rather than selling it to a third party.
