The Client:

Based in the heart of the City, this Small Cap brokerage has a very strong platform for growth and clear designs on gaining market share whilst the slowdown in the AIM market prevails.

With a pedigree of senior personnel from global investment banks, the firm was founded with the aspiration of providing an outstanding level of client service to all of their clients. Strong Equity Research being of primary importance.

Due to an internal promotion, they now require a Senior Researcher with the ability to hit the ground running and deliver insightful research to both the Corporate Finance and Equity Sales teams as well as their corporate clients.

The Candidate: 

• 2-3 years Research experience in UK small-cap stocks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with market data packages such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Factiva etc.
• Strong financial acumen inclusive of valuations and financial modelling experience.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage the output of others.
• Clear drive and a tenacious appetite for success.
