Job Description
A leading buy side firm is looking to add to their Strategy team in London. You should have extensive experience in formulating and communicating European macroeconomic views and ideally also have experience providing macroeconomic input to fixed income strategy and input to global equity strategy and asset allocation process. You will be communicating investment strategy to external and internal clients and producing weekly economic publications as well as country and thematic special reports. This role will offer you the chance to worked closely with trading desks and global strategy teams to produce fundamentals-based investment strategies and investment ideas. The ideal candidate will also have experience building monetary forecasting models and developed forward-looking growth and liquidity models to aid in equity asset allocation, exchange rate and interest rate prediction. You will also be expected to present this research to the clients. You should expect to use this role to progress through the fund into a chief investment strategy/Head Macro strategy role and would therefore be ideal for a candidate to make the transition from sell side to buy side.
