Job Description
A leading commodities group is seeking an exceptional, experienced profile in the commodities space to undertake primary research and analyse market drivers across the energy spectrum. Market coverage includes oil, gas and the clean energy market (wind, solar, biofuels and carbon) where you will be responsible for the analysis of market fundamentals of both an economic and financial nature, assessing the impact on both private and public investors. The successful profile will have:
Undergraduate and/or post-graduate level degree
Knowledge of one or more sectors of renewable energy, biofuels and low-carbon technology, and/or emission trading markets
Relevant economic, financial or energy industry experience
Exceptional quantitative skills
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work on client site
Working or professional knowledge of Mandarin / Cantonese a distinct advantage
