Job Description
A leading commodities research group is looking for an experienced individual to work within its rapidly expanding Carbon research function in New York. As a carbon markets researcher and strategist you will be a highly motivated individual seeking a client facing position within one of the newest and fastest growing markets world wide. You will be responsible for:
identifying and winning consultancy assignments
project manage the research
deliver the final output (report/presentation)
You will also need to contribute to model development, policy analysis and writing regular research reports specific to client requirements.
Successful candidates for this role will possess many, if not all of the following:
· Excellent first degree in preferably economics, engineering or any of the physical sciences
· post graduate degree in energy or related discipline preferred
· industry and/or relevant consulting experience in the energy and carbon markets essential, power sector knowledge useful
· industry contacts within relevant fields
