Job Description

Successful mid-market private equity investor seeks a talented and technically astute Fund Accountant to take on a new role within this inspiring organisation. With 20 people in the company and a well-respected position within the market, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop crucial operational experience in a business facing role. All day to day fund accounting is outsourced with this role intended to manage and work with the fund administrators, handle queries for investors and Portfolio Managers and develop internal management information around fund performance. Currently the team lacks a dedicated technical expert and your core responsibility will be to act as a buffer between the outsourced parties, investors and Investment Directors. It's unlikely the position will get involved in any technical accounting or nitty gritty accounts production. We're looking for an experienced private equity fund accountant, likely to be ACCA, ACA qualified or equivalent with experience in a similar role for another private equity firm or fund administrator. Crucially you'll need to have strong limited partnership accounting exposure, excellent Excel skills and an ambitious and proactive attitude. Salary on offer is to £55,000 in addition to strong benefits and above market bonus.
