Job Description

We have a Private Banking Manager vacancy with top UK retail bank to be based in the Redditch/Bromsgrove area.

The role will be to proactively build and develop a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing advice upon a broad range of financial matters, in order to maximise the level of client service & provision of cross sales opportunities for Personal Banking & Retail services.



To line manage and support their Private Banking Officer in his/her individual development. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

-To proactively service existing clients and obtain referrals from new business opportunities and existing client base in a compliant manner in order to achieve business growth objectives (number of new clients, income, and funds introduced into investment portfolios and to increase deposit/lending book) as agreed with the Area Manager.

 

-To sell standard Tax, Trusts & Will services to existing clients, either directly or referring to experts in order to meet/exceed specified financial/client objectives.

 

-To develop & maintain effective and productive working relations with other parts of the group

 

-To maintain up to date & compliant records to ensure relevant internal standards & external regulatory requirements are observed.

 

-To liase regularly with the Private Banking Office and dedicated Private Banking Officer to ensure effective customer contact and to provide input in his/her individual development.



Experience needed:

 

- Previous success in a selling/lead generation role , ideally in a regulated environment.

 

-Successful experience of working closely with a cross section of high net worth customers.

 

-Highly knowledgeable about financial services/products in the market place - particularly investment, wealth management and banking.

 

-Mature and self-confident individual who can interact well with people of influence.

 

-Need to have attained IAC 3/ FPC3 or equivalent and CeMap in order to give mortgage advice.

 

-A track record in meeting business targets and influencing bottom line figures.

 

-An understanding of Regulated Sales.
