Job Description

Phenomenal and genuinely analytical role focusing on revenue, cost and profitability forecasting at this leading global fund management business. This role is within the business facing Listed Assets finance team and supports the largest business unit, which includes Investment, Distribution and Product Management activities for a diverse range of clients and products. The primary focus of the role will be to provide meaningful and critical management information and financial analysis, as well as manage a small team. Initially, there will be a lot of work to do around improving and tweaking the current forecasting process, understanding and digesting complex cost, revenue and income data and being able to interpret this into regular management information/decision support, profitability analysis and on-going financial assistance for ad hoc projects (product launches and closures, projects, mergers, acquisitions, divestments and other corporate transactions). You'll also need to mentor, grow and develop a team of 3 and pass on your knowledge and skills to them. We're ideally looking for a strong Management Reporting Accountant, likely to have exposure to investment products from either an asset management or investment banking perspective. You'll need to demonstrate strong technical knowledge across cost, revenue and income with successful evidence of having working in a financial planning and forecasting role. Beyond that, this role offers huge potential for someone to come in and truly make their mark, create a new team and develop a new approach to monthly reporting. The overall finance team is also large enough to offer opportunities in this direction or other areas such as strategy and product development.
