Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The individual will provide expertise to corporate and commercial customers to implement, grow and retain their pension solutions. This individual will be responsible for the promotion of the administration platform with the aim of maintaining a relationship and control with corporate and commercial customers. The jobholder will work closely with the Pension Support Team, FPM`s, EBM`s and CSM`s within each AMG to determine the level of relationship management required.

The jobholder will/may: -
Liaise closely with Sales representatives in both the Retail and Commercial sectors.
Attend Regional and Area Meetings and Seminars to promote CRM services.
Deputise for and represent the Senior Pension Client Relationship Manager, and work with other Pension managers who are aligned to the strategic objectives of the organisation.

KNOWLEDGE
An understanding of the UK group pensions market that we operate in (products, service, markets & distribution)
A knowledge of and understanding of the range of the retail and commercial  banking products and services offered by the company
An understanding of the end to end processes involved in delivering the full service through the Network and to external customers
Detailed knowledge of the workings of the company channels ie LifePen and Business Internet Banking
An understanding of the Financial drivers of the business area

EXPERIENCE
Relevant experience in financial services is required
Technical knowledge, business management skills and able to evidence negotiation and influencing skills in changing environments
Evidence of working with cross functional teams to deliver customer focused propositions

SKILLS
Ability to present pension information to our client's customers
Ability to present to commercial and corporate customers and deliver training on servicing activities.
Strong problem solving, communication and negotiation skills.
Advanced ability to plan and promote ideas and information using all forms of communication.
Gaining complete trust & confidence of client relationships
Being able to identify cross selling opportunities and referring appropriately
