Finance Supervisor – Bank Reconciliations

£20,000 - £25,000 Plus Bonus

Our client is a pan European airline operating over 400 routes with over 175 aircraft in 27 countries. An opportunity has now arisen for a Finance Supervisor to join their team.

This role would suit someone with experience using general ledger accounting systems looking to develop their career with a leading company.

As a Finance Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing the payment function within a busy and fast growing finance department.

With a focus on ensuring all tasks are performed within statutory and corporate guidelines, you will establish a high level of control, whilst providing additional support to the finance function.

You will be tasked with:

- Reconciling all bank accounts
- Investigating and resolving reconciling items
- Downloading daily bank statements and providing ad hoc information as required
- Processing downloads into suitable Excel formats
- Arranging all electronic payments, including liaising with payroll, purchase ledger and treasury

To be considered for the role of Finance Supervisor, you must have:

- Experience of undertaking complex bank reconciliations
- Experience of high volume transactions
- Experience of using general ledger accounting systems, preferably CODA Financials

Additionally, you must work effectively within a team and possess the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people.

Although not essential, knowledge of electronic banking systems would be a distinct advantage to your application, as would knowledge of BACSTEL IP.
