Our client is an award-winning, accountancy organisation, with more than 1,000 offices in over 100 countries. An opportunity has now arisen for an Investment Director to join their team.

This role would suit a high calibre, CF 30 approved investment professional, looking to develop their career with the world's fifth largest accountancy organisation.

As an Investment Director you will be responsible for managing a small team of analysts who will select and monitor third party equity managers. You will also be expected to provide a strong contribution to the management of client discretionary portfolios.

Leading the process of qualitative and quantitative assessment of equity funds, you will also be tasked with making investment recommendations and assessing fund investment policies. In this senior role, you will also contribute to the management of a broad range of client portfolios and actively work with consultants to improve the delivery of superior investment returns to clients.

Your other duties will include:

- Providing input into the business plan
- Constructing and monitoring a panel of recommended funds
- Preparing and managing training and development plans for any direct reports
- Interviewing new and prospective fund managers

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Significant experience gained within a fund management, trading, investment research or another similar role
- A degree (or equivalent)
- An IMC (Investment Management Certificate) or equivalent qualification
- A Financial Services Level of Authorisation CF 30

As an Investment Director you must have the ability to structure and communicate a relevant investment strategy across your portfolios. Excellent communication and strong analytical skills are also key.

Although not essential, a CFA, CAIA or another similar qualification would be a distinct advantage to your application.
