With a reputation that's widely recognised in their industry, our client was one of the first non-banking institutions to provide foreign exchange services. Recognised as experts in their field, they are a truly multinational organisation with over 30 years of experience. They are now looking to appoint a Head of Operations.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a very successful business in a key leadership role at a very exciting time. There are significant challenges, but also the opportunity to develop your skills and influence the future direction of their Group.
As a key member of the senior management team, the Head of Operations will provide leadership, guidance and support to their Operations function by maintaining and developing their operational systems, policies and procedures to ensure a responsive, strategically focussed resource - which will have a key influence on the success of their commercial operations.
As this is a hands-on role, you must be a strong people-manager, with the ability to lead their team for all day-to-day operational activities including the Dealing Room, Cash Centres, and Customer Support.
To succeed as the Head of Operations you must have previous senior-level operational management experience, preferably from within the Retail or Banking sector. You will also need to be able and willing to challenge the norm and existing methodologies, and introduce new ideas and concepts.
With your proven track record of delivering results in an operational capacity, you will also need to demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, leadership and people management skills, and a strategic and commercial focus.
