Job Description
A high-calibre, extensively experienced professional is required for the role of European Head of Collateral Management. Based in London, the successful applicant will be working for one of the largest, best-known and most prestigious investment banks in the world.
This opportunity has arisen for an experienced manager to join the large Europe Collateral Management Team, whose responsibility is primarily in risk mitigation, with a heavy focus on client service.
As well as managing the day to day operation, the successful applicant will play a major role and be responsible for executing a collegiate client offering that provides a mechanism for sustainable innovation, reducing proprietary credit and operational risk whilst optimising existing resources. You will be a part of the implementation and planning of the collateral management transformation program which will deliver a business infrastructure that allows the bank to optimise the regulatory, funding and credit benefits of collateralisation.
The applicant will need to demonstrate sound business judgement and decision-making, balancing risk and opportunity. The ideal candidate will have impressive management experience, preferably in the field of collateral or derivatives.
