Job Description
A Base & Precious Metals Specialist is required for an eminent international investment bank. The role is based in London. The Bank is committed to being the best financial services provider in the world.
The Base & Precious Metals Specialist will be responsible for exception monitoring on day-to-day processes within the base & precious department including ad-hoc requests on the back of trading positions. They will have authorisation of manual payments, and perform Nostro management, MIS reporting, and segregated funds management and reporting.
The ability to identify potential issues, present effectively to all levels of management and identify solutions is essential for this role. This will be demonstrated through your understanding of vat submission requirements for the commodities business, and good understanding of front-to-back operational flow of trade capture through to final settlement.
Knowledge of metals documentation & settlement payments is not essential but would be an asset.
