Job Description
Prime finance middle office a client services officer is required for the prime finance middle office of an eminent international investment bank. The role is based in the London Docklands.
Prime finance middle office supports the stock lending and equity finance trading desks, and is part of the overall prime finance unit. The client service group provides support for stock lending transactions to both hedge fund and corporate clients.
Generally the successful candidate will:
- Run daily exposure reports for a given set of stock lending clients
- Cover exposures with collateral movements, predominantly cash, and mark relevant positions.
- Instruct principal collateral payments / receipts in line with settlement of trades
Significant experience of stock lending processing in a broker / dealer environment, ideally in a collateral or exposure management capacity, is required. You will demonstrate understanding of the portfolio valuations and related collateral movements to manage exposure.
As a large financial institution, there are many opportunities in all areas of middle office and operations for the right candidate to develop in terms of technical knowledge and seniority. This can be in a line role, or a project capacity depending on experience and background.
