Job Description
A trade support professional is required for the prime finance middle office of one of the world's largest and most esteemed international investment banks. The role is based in the London Docklands.
Prime finance middle office supports the stock lending and equity finance trading desks. The trade support will liaise closely with the stock lending and equity finance trading desks to ensure the accurate booking / amendment of daily trade flows, particularly those items with key economic impact. This is a high profile role with exposure to large volumes and high value items.
Generally the successful candidate will ensure valuation accuracy of corporate action outturns within portfolios, and review and resolve stale pricing issues.
Significant experience of stock lending processing in a broker / dealer environment, ideally relating to trade / desk support is required. You will demonstrate understanding of underlying economics principals of stock lending trade, portfolio valuations and related collateral management.
As our client is a large financial institution, and there are many opportunities in all areas of middle office and operations for the right candidate to develop in terms of technical knowledge and seniority. This can be in a line role, or a project capacity depending on experience and background.
