Job Description
A corporate actions analyst is required for the world's leading investment bank, based in London.
The bank's London corporate actions group comprises a large, professional group of staff servicing all of the London-based equity trading businesses. These include both proprietary trading desks (cash, derivatives, convertibles) and client facing businesses (prime brokerage, stock loan, swaps)
As a successful corporate actions analyst, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate information to internal and external clients about upcoming events. You will collate elections from traders, clients, lenders and buyers, and reconcile elections and allocate to agents, shorts, borrowers and sellers. You will also ensure all entitlements are received from agents, and manage both internal and external client relationships.
Applicants should have strong investment banking operations experience. Experience in or proven knowledge of corporate actions or dividends is essential. Applicants will need to demonstrate an ability to work in a high volume, high risk manual environment.
