Job Description
The settlements department of one of the world's largest and most prestigious investment banks are looking for a candidate to join their Emerging Market equity, fixed income derivatives and stock-loan settlements teams.
The successful candidate must be forward thinking with a proven track record of risk management/awareness and an ability to analyse issues and provide innovative, efficient solutions.
Based at the firm's London Docklands offices, the analyst will ensure pre-matching and settlement of emerging market transactions - OTC and exchange/broker traded, as well as the following:
- Fails management
- Depot and Nostro reconciliation
- Alleged processing
- STP
- Risk management
- Management reporting
The ideal candidate would have a background in settlements with a high volume investment bank but this is not essential. Other preferences for this role include peer group experience , high volume processing, and knowledge of SWIFT (ISO 15022).
