Job Description
A senior associate is required for the settlements & operations team of a burgeoning London-based securities and investment firm. They are looking for professionals who would like to join them at this exciting growth stage of the company.
Being part of a core team, this role has overall responsibility for international securities settlements and operations, trade input, counterparty & client settlements, account reconciliations, client regulated reporting, and FSA transactions reporting.
Key responsibilities will focus on ensuring the streamlined settlement of all types of international securities, debt, equity, and derivative instruments. You will perform maintenance of all static settlement data in the system, including client, counterparty and security data. You will also prepare and send trade confirmations to the counterparties and clients.
Good and detailed knowledge of investment instruments is vital for this role, and you will have solid industry and settlements experience. The role requires detailed knowledge of the operation and confirmation procedures for both UK and overseas securities markets.
