Index Analyst
£15.00 - £20.00 Per Hour

This rapidly developing company in the business of providing financial indices, growing at 30-40% per annum requires the services of a market aware Index Analyst with a strong knowledge of corporate actions.
The company has a very strong reputation within the market place for the quality and reliability of its index products and its expertise in dealing with unusual or complex stock events is widely acknowledged.
Primarily you will be reporting to the Manager of EMEA within the Operations Department, you will be responsible for the support/assisting of the day-to-day management of the Indices and Products. As part of the Operations Department, the Index Analyst is at the hub of the business.
Specific duties will include:
*Completion of daily production procedures including creating and checking the Firms Products, to strict deadlines.
* Using all available data sources, support the team in researching/analysing corporate actions and the respective impact on the Firms Indices.
* Using Internal Databases, maintain and manage stock information in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring the highest quality to the firms data.
* Accurate monitoring of real time indices and timely resolution of issues.
You will ideally have experience within the financial services industry, ideally in a analytical role within a fund management environment as well as a strong understanding of corporate actions.
It would also be advantageous if you have working knowledge of DataStream, Reuters, Fact set and Bloomberg
