OTC Derivative Operations - Structured Rates Confirmation Drafting
£20.00 - £25.00 Per Hour

This renowned international top tier investment bank is looking for an exceptional, enthusiastic Structured Rates Confirmation Drafting with a wealth of ISDA confirmations experience a must. With over 300,000 employees in 83 countries and territories this investment bank is one of the largest financial services organisations in the world, and one of the few banks with a truly global presence.
The OTC Derivative Operations is responsible for the processing of all OTC derivative transactions administered in London. These include a global currency options business, plus locally booked interest rate, equity and credit derivatives.
This role has the responsibility for the ISDA confirmation production for all events relating to vanilla interest rate derivatives transactions.
Responsibilities:
•Support the Front Office Interest Rate Derivative businesses to provide a full, efficient, controlled and effective operational function; key tasks include checking trade input, drafting of ISDA documentation, liaison with clients/internal contacts for resolution of queries and producing daily reports with focus on long outstanding items for follow up and resolution.
•Assist in maintaining procedures and desk Instructions for all functions currently performed within the team, ensuring adherence to FIM and following documented best practice wherever possible.
•Minimise operational losses for all functions under your control ensuring that operating procedures are updated in order to prevent recurrence.
•Efficiently process all due diligence proposals within the timeframes laid down in each proposal.
•Assist with system development and testing to continue the expansion of the current product range.
•Initiate and maintain productive relationships within the area and across other sections and departments.
•Improve efficiency by continually challenging existing processes and refinement/amendment thereof wherever appropriate.
•Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
•Maintain Internal Control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
•Be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with your role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.
The role requires the individual to gain the Securities & Investment Institute IAQ qualification. This will be sponsored by the bank and the individual will be given appropriate study time to achieve the qualification.
