Job Description
An Emerging Markets Operations Change Business Analyst is required for a leading international investment bank.
Based in London, you will become part of the burgeoning business initiative within fixed income Emerging Markets to develop a sustainable and scaleable business model that enables it to meet its strategic growth plans in local markets and the full realisation of identified revenue potential in a cost effective manner, whilst managing the associated legal, regulatory and tax risks.
Responsibilities for fixed income EMEA project manager/business analyst role will include:
- Analysis of the various operations streams for fixed income bonds, derivatives and loans from operations change point of view, including: static data, trade processing (including confirmations and settlement), cash management, regulatory reporting and control.
- Support project planning phase and track progress accordingly
- Keep programme management and operations change management up-to-date in terms of project progress and key issues.
A full understanding of the professional, ethical and legal standards required in operations is essential. You will have relevant financial markets regulations, knowledge of project and programme management, and project experience in test pack generation, organisation/execution of user acceptance testing, training execution as well as ensuring business readiness.
The role combines a need for creativity & innovation in design with the need for logical analysis and conceptual thinking in problem solving and decision-making processes.
