Job Description
A structured commodity operations specialist is required for the world's leading and forerunning investment banks. The role is based in the London Docklands. As the firm continues to expand further into new markets, this new, exciting and fast growing trading area will see continued rapid growth.
The candidate will be part of a small but growing team who look after the front-to-back operational support for the structured commodity operations desk. They will be expected to take help define the operational processes for the new business and products as they are traded, helping to build a controlled robust infrastructure around this business line. They will also be offering ways in which to improve processes and control.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrably strong experience in metals and commodity structured products. Detailed understanding of the metals trade life cycle, particularly the settlement, invoicing and futures operational areas, is required. Strong technical and product knowledge of precious and base metals is essential.
