Job Description
A Derivatives Analyst is required for one of the world's largest and most respected international investment banks.
Based in London, the successful applicant will become an integral part of the Trading and Sales Support teams, which provide support for the dealing room & customer services, ensuring that deals traded are recorded, and settlements are made/received in an efficient manner.
As a Derivatives Analyst, you will take responsibility for daily settlement of structured derivative deals, including deal capture and settlement management on a variety of derivative products. You will also run various trade reconciliation reports and resolve exceptions in a timely manner.
The applicant will demonstrate sound knowledge of various risks involved in supporting derivative trading activity. Experience of the following trade capture is required:
- Equity options including calculating the maturity payouts/ valuations
- Commodity options including calculating the maturity payouts/ valuations
- Trade capture of inflation derivatives including understanding how coupon are calculated
